well, it seems like you haven't installed the fonts required by this skin, yet.
please close cad and check if there's any font file (*.ttf) in this skin's "Fonts" folder and then copy/paste that to your system fonts' directory.
when you're done you can launch CAD again and the skin should work as expected. :)

in case there aren't any font files in this skin's "Fonts" folder, then please download the skin again and then after you have unzipped the zip file you'd have to rename the included Subject Matter.cskin file into Subject Matter.zip.
next you can extract that newly created zip archive in WinRar or WinZip or whatever and you'll find that "Fonts" folder.
just copy/paste the ttf file(s) as described above, launch CAD again and that's it.

i hope that was helpful. ;)

what windows are you using?
if you're on Vista or Win7 then taking folder ownership of both CAD and WMP might help.
also taking a look here could be useful.

either way, .. you're always welcome to post a help request in the cdartdisplay.com forum. ;)

Would you be willing to allow me to adapt this to work with covergloobus and screenlet on linux?

thanks for your inquiry.
i appreciate this a lot.

i think you're not just asking me to adapt this but also to actually release it, right? :D
well well well, ..........
...i'm usually not too keen about my works to become available for other apps and/or platforms.
the thing is that i can't control their spreading once they're out of hand.
so, what can you do to help avoiding an uncontrolled usage?
maybe you can add as many credits wherever possible.
like for example: in your release notes, in the preview image, in a readme.txt file etc. each of them saying that i gave an explicit resp. exclusive permission to only you for te purpose of making this a covergloobus skin.
besides i would appreciate links to both my dA gallery and the original deviation in the areas i just mentioned.
maybe you can even rename the skin from Subject Matter to Subject Matter by OtisBee.

you think that would be okay for you?
i hope you don't mind me being sooooo picky there. :hmm:

cheers. :peace:
