well.. this is pretty much the same setup as in my previous screenshot
the main difference is that i've tinkered a bit more with the wallpaper
by using the Badge N Stitches from apple's iCloud.com website. [link]
besides, i cleaned up a bit the mess in my menubar,
added two Yahoo!Widgets and exchanged some of
the icons in my DragtThing dock at the bottom center.
i also have de-saturated the wall at the top and used
a different pattern on the bottom one.
and of course i'm using osx lion now.

WALLPAPER |- selfmade dock- and iconbackgrounds
- badge and stitches graphics extracted from iCloud.com
- bottom wall pattern used from osx lion's default login screen and then colorized
APPS IN USE |- Diaplaperture (for the round screen corners)
- DragThing (with settings to grayscale all icons)
- Yahoo!Widgets (for monitoring weather, time and HDD space)
- as well as a few others more, but which don't have an effect on how this screenshot looks
due to the fact that i'm using graphics from apple™, i unfortunately can't and won't share the wallpaper.
sorry!!
anything else you wanna know?
just ask.
you already asked me about the icons back in september 2011 and here's what i replied back then: [link]
on how to arrange the various elements, hence the setup?
or on how i created/modified certain things in photoshop?
please, try to be a bit more specific and maybe try to sound a little less demanding.
yeah, that'd be nice. thx.
Shame, its really nice too
well, since i haven't created some elements used in the wallpaper myself, i basically don't own the copyright, which then again forbids me to share or redistribute what's not mine. it doesn't make any difference where i got those elements from. i haven't created them and as a consequence i'd be infringing on someone else's copyright.
and that's in disregard to whether i'd use something from a big company such as apple, or from just the next random private person. copyright is copyright and it doesn't even need to be claimed to be copyright protected. it just is by default, unless stated otherwise by the company or creator.
sorry.
